The North Fruita Desert lies between the 13 Rd (Hwy 139) and the 18 Rd on the west and east, and between the Highline Canal and the Bookcliffs on the south and north. It is adobe badlands with a complex vegetation. There are also a number of common birds, mammals, reptiles and insects. You might experience the desert by car or bicycle or by getting out and walking in it. Lets take a look
